This is a great mind game toy! No batteries, and very challenging. My four year old loves it for just free play with the blocks in the tray, but then again, he's also good at solving the shape puzzles! I worked at a toy store, and the boss was trying to explain it, but I was like - Whatever - but now that I know how it works....I could have sold way more of these. I even want a second one so that we can duel each other. Try it!

you can play several ways, i took out the single pieces and let my son fill in, if too difficult use all pieces. a wonderful challenging toy for 4 to 5 yr old.
