Found this book very disappointing. Nothing really new or surprising in this book. Go to the library or use the internet to do research on paying for nursing school.

My advisor at nursing school suggested this book and she was absolutely right. This book is great! In just one place (and for not very much money) I found every major scholarship aimed specifically at nursing students. By major, I mean scholarships that actually gave you some real money and/or were open to students throughout the country. Even better, there weren't any college specific programs, so I didn't have to wade through lots of opportunities that I couldn't possible apply for. There were many programs described here that I am going to follow up on and, guess what, even my advisor didn't know about a number of those. If you're a nursing student like me and you need money for school, this is the book to use. It's really up to date, it has lots of detail, and has a bunch of indexes (by where you live, what nursing specialty you're interested in, where you are or want to study, and when applications are due).
