Fundraising for the Long Haul helps readers assess the health of their nonprofit organization, and take the necessary steps to create a more dynamic, effective, and sustainable fundraising program. Klein outlines the characteristics of healthy fundraising programs and provides checklists and benchmarks to evaluate your organization's progress. Using real-life examples, she explains that lack of money is often a symptom of a deeper problem and offers specific solutions for overcoming the obstacles that nonprofit organizations most commonly face. Fundraising for the Long Haul reminds nonprofits that engaging in frequent self-examination through planning and evaluation, welcoming new ideas and people, and taking risks are the hallmarks of vibrant and dynamic organizations. Fundraising for the Long Haul provides a road map - grounded in Klein's vast experience as a fundraiser, trainer, and writer - for organizations wanting a long and healthy life.

By A Customer
A real gem. Kim Klein shares not only her widely reknowned wisdom and guidance, but she really helps you stay focused on and enthusiastic about the social change your nonprofit is committed to. Especially during these times of tightening budgets and limited resources, this book is a fantastic resource.
