Micki Gordon 's interest in fundraising dates back to the days when as a schoolgirl she helped her mom sell cookies at a P.S. 156 Bake Sale. As a young mom she honed her fundraising skills in the PTA, scouts and local synagogue. She is presently, the Director Of Development for the Jewish Council for the Aging of the Greater Washington D.C. Area. After years of being asked to advise others on the "ins and outs" of creating a successful fundraising event, this manual was conceived.

Since most fundraisers do not major in fundraising in college; we just get handed the chore because we are capable people...this book did not give me enough.
