5.0 out of 5 stars Invest in your excellent health, June 24, 2008

This review is from: The Fungus Link (Paperback)
To my knowledge, no other person other than Mr Kaufmann goes into such detail as to what is REALLY wrong with Americans and their pitiful health. Antibiotics are not the answer. In fact, when you take most antibiotics, you're feeding the problem---which is why you're not getting better. Give Mr Kaufmann's protocol (which he calls the Phase I diet) 2 weeks. You're going to see a difference and the added bonus is that the food is REAL and tastes terrific. No fancy recipes or exotic ingredients.

5.0 out of 5 stars the living proof, October 2, 2009
This review is from: The Fungus Link (Paperback)
I guess it hurts the average scientist or doctor ego when someone discovered something that other did not, Here is the fact, I had many health problems that no doctor could fix, nothing to die from, but high blood pressure skin problems and 255 pounds, that is overweight for my frame, after learning from these books, I lost 64 pounds, I am healthy, better muscle tone, even my memory improved, and even my potency increased,( in several different fields ), so for the big shot educated scientists: turn of the ego hurt, and turn on the research, because these books found something revolutionary., oh few more other things: I sleep better, I feel better, my hair is not full of white skin flakes as it was before the diet, I do not have stomach problems, I do not have heartburn anymore, I do not wake tired in the morning, a cut or wound heals faster, I do not cash the flue when all others around me do, and I tell you, I use to have a week immune system, even my nails look better, well, I hope I did not leave something out. I recommend anyone who is skeptical, : take the self-discipline and just do the diet, and see what is the result. Will be very happy you did. ( By the way, at first I also did not believe in it, my parents were doctors and I use to have the habit of calling on the pills when something was wrong with my health)

I must add that is IMPORTANT TO READ ALL THE EDITIONS PLUS THE COOK BOOK BY THIS AUTHOR, because after loosing 64 pounds I went back to my old eating habits and gained it all back, now after keeping the cookbook my only food source, I am able to keep up 40 pounds on a constant base. It works, with knowledge plus motivation plus doing it... = works and gets results.

1.0 out of 5 stars Same as all of his other books, June 30, 2009
This review is from: The Fungus Link (Paperback)
The information on fungus is the same as all of the other fungus link books. Lots of re-cycled information such as recipes, anti-fungal diet as well. They have a summation on antifungal drugs and supplements, but no advice on how much supplementation to use. These books are really a collection of essays and not what I would call a book. They also make some absurd calims eg p. 284

" Argentineans consume more beef than anyone in the world, yet they have no heart disease or cancer as a result of this. Why? They let their cattle graze in the open feilds instead of feeding them moldy grain from silos like we do in the United States."

Maybe they have lower rates of heart disease or cancer????

This just gives you an idea of the ridiculous, non-scientific superlatives found throughout the book.
