I gave this book 5 stars, not because it was flawless but because it raises a tremendously provocative and potentially very important idea which has been ignored by modern medicine.

2.0 out of 5 stars All fungus link books are the same book
These books are really a compilation of newsletters. If you buy one, you get the basic diet and supplements he uses to combat fungal illness. I really felt ripped off since I bought two of the other books and got basically the same book.

I gave this book 5 stars, not because it was flawless but because it raises a tremendously provocative and potentially very important idea which has been ignored by modern medicine.

As a second year medical student, this book really drew my attention towards fungal diseases, which aren't really taught in medical school. There is already ample evidence to support a paleolithic type diet; this book further reinforces that.

What I enjoyed less: references to God, certain medical errors and a lack of depth. Ideally, the authors could have combined all their fungal books into one.

Great read overall.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works, I am not sure how, but works, November 23, 2009
This seems to be the newest version of the 2nd edition, it takes some time to collect the self determination to follow up on the advices from this book, it seems to be an easy read, however if able to follow you might loose 40 pounds as I did it, it worth to try it, easier to read the book than actually do as it says . I just wish I would have believed in the program sooner.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fungus Link, December 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Fungus Link: Tracking the Cause, Volume 2 (Paperback)
I've been sick for a long time. I was pointed in the direction of Doug Kaufmann's books and diet. After giving it a try, I'm doing much better. Rather than a try though, I will need to make this a lifetime commitment. Once I wander back into fungal territory, symptoms come back quickly. The Fungus Link books explain a lot. I'm glad Amazon had a copy that was less expensive than elsewhere. I'm in the process of reading all of them.
