In the best sense of the word of course. a clasic old school; Funk albulm form the P-Funk family of musicians.

I liked all of the songs on "Funk Of Ages" but my favorite cuts is "Beware of Dog" a funk-rock fest and "Don't Piss Me Off".The only problem I had with this CD is there are stiff singing vocals due to a lack of a lead singer taking charge...George Clinton is the lead vocalist missing from this CD and it shows here and there but the tracks are very good and funky.Bernie Worrell is one of the greatest musicians of all time and it shows.

This Album gets better and better the more times you listen to it, Bernie Worrell just gets it funkin on the clavinet on songs like funkaholics and y-spy, then you have the three songs that are kinda similiar cuz they're all in the same key(beware of dog, straight ahead, and the my favorite "DONT PISS ME OFF!" Bootys, Herbie, and best of all Keith are all on this album. So Buy this album if you wanta to hear something brilliant and funky. Bernie Worrell is one bad asssz muthafunker

okay to like this you must love p-funk bernie continues spreadind his woo wizardry on this underrated classic, half of this will remind you of the new jack swing style but tracks like dream on chanfes that plus bernie remenisces about his maggot brain days in the rocker bewware of dog, and don't (...) me off is what hardcore funkadelic fans plus fans of bernie wanna hear.

Despite Featuring some great funk artists this is a really weak disk not even worth the two dollars.

bernie gets that 80's flava goin strong! favs;"volunteered slavery" and "beware of dog"!(the latter has keyboards that would've fit PERFECTLY on a p-funk or talking heads album!)

they're selling it for only a few bucks used!!! if you dig bernie you need to get it,that simple! think funky 80's tunes with awesome guest spots from bootsy,keith richards,david byrne and a few others! it's waaaay cool!
