This is an excellent disc by one of the masters of funk/jazz drumming. Mike Clark, who played with Herbie Hancock, The Headhunters and others, keeps things grooving with steady beats and Paul Jackson (bass), Kenny Garrett (sax), and Jeff Pittson (keys) freely follow his flow with great results. Definitely worth checking out.

Mike Clark and Paul Jackson created some the most ferocious and funky grooves of the 70s when they were Herbie Hancock's rhythm section. As the defining members of the Headhunters theses guys melded funk and jazz like no other drum/bass team. This record carries on that tradition with great playing and great compositions and a whole lot of FUN. Mike Clark remains one of the very few drummers who absolutely floors me with his drum solos. They are all works of art and I am not a drummer. Now add Kenny Garrett to this team and you have near perfection. This is a truly inspiring CD and I highly recommend it to fusion fans.

I bought this cd only for the cover, i think its hilarious and it makes me laugh every time i look at it, maybe one day ill listen to the CD itself.
