I have two boys, 9 and 7. We had no problem loading the software (don't have vista) and have had a great time with this toy. Each funkeys has a different room, different game and their own store. You can win gifts for high scores and trophies for each game that go to your crib. Mattel keeps adding so it doesn't get old. I think I have played about as much as the boys and it is great fun (and I am not much of a gamer). Love the funkeys!

My 5 years old son loves it. The game is difficult to update but the installation cd included solves lots. The funkeys game helps improve his physical skills and gets him used to playing with a computer.

So far,the adults in the house have spent 1-2 hours over several days installing, uninstalling, reinstalling and downloading updates, just to get this game working. I could have have completely upgraded my several home computers to Vista during the same period, which would have been just as much a waste of my time.
Funkeys appears finally to be working, though every new little bobble-head you stick into the back of the big bobble-head's head starts a new 10-minute download sequence. I started playing the game to test a new character, and the game character was immediately covered in sludge because I walked it into a portal. The little fellow now wanders aimlessly around the streets of Funkeyville dripping brown muck and trailng a swarm of flies. I don't get the point of this, and it just doesn't seem like a lot of fun to me, but I guess I'm not 10 years old. [Sigh] Anyway, this game is best enjoyed by your child at someone ELSE's home.
