After downloading and playing Governor of Poker, which I enjoy thoroughly, I thought this couldn't compare to it. It more than compares. There are various types of games and 12 challenges where you cannot go on to challenge 2, for example, until you win challenge 1. It's a blast, educational and addicting. Love it!

I dont usually like games like this, but this is a totally fun game. It plays great... the AI is very good... very addictive.

I'm not easily impressed but this game is worth mentioning. The DL & install was quick & easy. Having played Texas Hold'em online at PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Zynga (on Myspace & Facebook) and finding ALL of them boring and redundant, with the exception of this game not being online play, this game beats all of them. Without giving the game away, a couple of the 12 challenges were just that, challenging - and a few of them will reveal that there are certain situations that are not as ideal as you would imagine. I prefer tournament play and the deals are random enough so as not to appear "scripted". Completing the levels of a tournament takes a long while, as it should, and although I have won several tournaments, I have yet to win every round of tournament play. If that's even possible. In the meantime, it will be fun finding out.

I play this all the time and am enjoying it very much. Am also learning to play Texas Hold-em.

This is a good game but I wish it was 10 handed or tourny style.

The game has somewhat wooden silent characters(Photos Only).

The difficulty level is minor, as I broke down the table 6 times the first week...the GameComputer naively raises maximum number of times whenever a character has a King or an Ace, or a pocket pair......... and you can avoid playing some bad hands before the flop(like 3spades, 5hearts) by raising when no one else has before you....they all fold, giving you the antes, unless they're holding a King or Ace, or a pocket pair....if they DON'T fold, you KNOW what they're holding.

This game, believe it or not, is very relaxing. I have beaten all levels except "Season Player" and have 9 medals.

I play the game when I get home from work, for about an hour, to unwind. Best part is it doesn't matter if I lose because it's not real money; which make it more relaxing.

I don't know if there are any really good computer poker playing games, but this one isn't it. The interface is clunky (looks like it was ported from DOS), the computer doesn't play that well, and over all it's just okay. If you are hankering to kill time playing poker on the computer, then sure, but there are better ways to dally.

On the whole this is a good game but can be very frustrating. Especially in the challenge mode. Graphics and sound are not the best but you get what you pay for.

This game is very poor although the actual game play is ok, the program doesnt give the points that you earn. Example: I was in the semi-finals and won 3 times with a room of 4 players and I wasnt given any points so I could advance to the next level. overall experience of this game is POOR.
