5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Gift
A great item! I recieved one from my friend before she went off to college (leaving me in high school). The bobblehead says three Spock lines: "Live Long and Prosper," "Fascinating," and "Obviously, you are completely irrational." It's a great pieve of work with some fine detail. The arms move, but you won;t EVER care about this.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good Idea - Poor Follow Through
I was excited to see this toy. I love Spock and the idea of him speaking to me while his head wobbles was exciting. But, this toy isn't made very well. I couldn't get it to talk, then I dropped it. The drop seemed to make the speaker work and he started talking, only to stop a few weeks later. I wouldn't buy this again!

The only downside to this tow is that it's motion sensitive. The slightest movement will trigger the audio. I made the mistake of placing it on top of my DvD player. Just be aware that, like Spock, it talks and talks and talks.

Great item! Great gift for any Trekkie!

As a Trekkie, this is a good gift to give to a frien if you're on a short budget. It's something fun and Star Trek! It's not a collector's item. If you want a collector's item, then you'd have to spend more money. But this is just a fun gift for the Trekkie fan.

I was disappointed that the item sent was not the item pictured. This was supposed to be Spock, partly "invisible" because he was in the process of being transported. What I received was the original bobble head Spock in full blue shirt and black pants. The same is true of the Kirk that I ordered directly from Amazon - should have been the "transporting" Kirk, but received the original bobble head Kirk with full yellow shirt and black pants. These were for my son, who is Autistic, and I wanted original Star Trek figures, but something a little different for him. Oh well. I'm not going to ask for an exchange because I'm not even certain that the item pictured is even available. These are Christmas gifts for my son so I am unable to comment on how well they do or do not work. The Spock he got 2 years ago, just required 3 new batteries; the Kirk from 1 year ago also had to have the 3 batteries replaced. I will say that these are not for little ones - they can't handle a lot a rough play.

Bought the item as a gift for my 60 year old,Spock-loving Sister. Although when Spock 'speaks' you cannot really understand what he's saying, she still loved it. It's a gag gift or a toy for collectors, that's all.

Loved this bobble head Spock. At first the voice activation was too sensitive so much that I had to move it where it wouldn't start talking with the slightest breeze. After one year, I think his voice battery ran out as he no longer wishes to share his wisdom. Still, it's a beautiful caricature of Spock and I will always treasure it.

Well I love Star Trek and I'm really enjoying my Spock booblehead. It's really fun. However it looks like used. The arms can be moved and the right arm touch the blue shirt if moved backward. Well the shirt's ink is scratched where the arm touchs it. The arm came lift up in the box. So looks like somebody used that before. But I've loved this anyway.

Well, okay, it's classified as one, but it's more of a novelty item to sit on your desk and make people laugh. Fans of the old series and the new will appreciate it. I don't recommend it for kids, just the "kids" who can drive. :-)
