Product Description

This amazing Ted Talking Wacky Wobbler Bobble Head features the foul-mouthed teddy bear as a 7-inch bobbler with smirking mouth and beer in hand and Ted talks! That's, right, this Ted Wacky Wobbler features the following 4 phrases: "Hey, Johnny, how about a beer, huh? Ooh, couple of Charles Brewkowski's?", "That's my bad. I was sending a tweet.", "I love you girls, you know. Somewhere out there are four terrible fathers I wish I could thank for this great night." and "Maybe you should say no to a Snickers bar every once in a while." Ages 17 and up.

Item was a gift for my boss, and he loved it!
Chummy
I was upset because as cute as Ted is... i Pulled the plastic thing that avoids the battery from being used and he worked the first day fine talking.

I wish he wasn't so sensitive and he said more sayings (and some of the more popular funnier quotes- those aren't even the really good ones).

I got this for my boyfriend as a novelty Valentine's day present because obviously it's a holiday based on exchanging teddy bears....or something. He's a huge Ted fan and so am I. Although I realized within a few seconds why I'm glad I'm leaving it at his house. He's very touchy! To activate the sayings, you simply bobble his head, but he sometimes randomly talks with hardly any provocation and THERE'S NO OFF SWITCH. So basically the first few nights I had him out of the box I'd occasionally wake up in the middle of the night if my cats sniffed at him or if a breeze rolled in or if I farted in his general direction to one of his four sayings:

Hey Johnny, how bout a beer huh? Ooh, couple of Charles Brewkowski's?
That's my bad I was sending a tweet.
I love you girls, you know, somewhere out there are four terrible fathers I wish I could thank for this great night.
Maybe you should say no to a snickers bar every once in awhile.

I wish he wasn't so sensitive and he said more sayings (and some of the more popular funnier quotes- those aren't even the really good ones). So in my opinion, not worth $15, but funny and cute as a gag gift.

Good simple toy for someones who likes the movie Ted, a heck of a lot cheaper then one of the stuffed animals made for the movie, I am not sure what makes it talk, light, motion, movement, but it would not shut up, I had to come down in my PJ's with my gun in my hand at 4 in the morning, and thats not pretty, because "Ted" started talking, apparently in his sleep, and we thought the Zombies had finally arrived. Anyway TED ended up in the plastic recycling bin on Wednesday trash day, cause I could not get him to shut up.

I was disappointed with the quality of sound... you can barely make out what he is saying! Wish it had more movie quotes too!

I was upset because as cute as Ted is... i Pulled the plastic thing that avoids the battery from being used and he worked the first day fine talking. the next time i went to show someone what he says. The battery didnt work. So now i have to get a tiny screw driver and go purchase a battery for it. Ugh... maybe they should send me a new battery?? because it should not have that issue! But he is he so cute

Bought a new battery and the bear still doesn't talk. Now he is just a display ... Very disappointed with this product

I bought this present for my boyfriend who loved the movie and is an avid bobblehead collector. This was the better choice as compared to the stuffed version of Ted. Just randomly tapping on ted's head did not work for me and the box did not come with instructions. The Ted I have has a sweet spot (tapping his right ear) which works all the time, but he also has randomly spoken at times when no one was playing with him. Was wondering if anyone else has had this happen? If anyone wants to hear more than 4 phrases just download the Ted app for a dollar.

I'm a big fan of Ted. This novelty is a good conversation piece. I haven't had the spontaneous talking problems I read about in other reviews. As a matter of fact, mine doesn't talk unless you bump it. In relation to other complaints, there ought to be an on/off switch, if only to preserve the battery.

It was fun until we took it out of the box and pulled out the tab and it didn't talk. I'm not sure if the batteries are dead, but I'm incredibly disappointed that a brand new item would arrive with dead batteries, if that was the case, or broken.
