A few Basic patterns, redone over and over. Too much space wasted on redundant stitch tutorial, and not enough pattern vareity.

This book is for beginners only or if you want to learn some different accenting techniques. This book has some very good pictures for learning basic stitching techniques. It teaches you how to knit a basic glove, bag, scarf, and hat. It then shows you how to take those basics and put a different finishing technique on it to make it different: Add tassles to scarf, add beads, make pom poms, etc. The section on creating cord would have been better if it didn't assume you were going to use a tool rather than knitting it.
