good music, but .................,

the idea is great, this serie of 14 cd albums brings back the more unknown black dance music from the 80's in the 12" versions.Digitally remastered, but they forget to tell you that they remastered from the vinyl singles not from the original mastertapes. In some cases it sounds ok, but in many the sound is wack!!. If you like this kind of music but also love HQ-sound don't buy this!!.

This series' song choice is unquestionably excellent in terms of the rarity. On this No.13, the 12'' versions of Steve Shelto, Ohillys St. James and Freddie Jackson are extremely rare if you would like to get them on CDs. Although some of the tunes' sound quality on this CD is not perfect, it still is worth getting.
