13 Stories had a spot in a Mustang commercial with their song 'Beep! Beep!' and I was taken with their exuberant energy. "Funkypopsexyhouserap" is the album.
Their music is high energy -- sometimes frenzied --, fun, funky, catchy, and deceptively complex. The 'La Song' is a little risque but the album title tells ya what yer gettin'.
I have really enjoyed this album. Who needs coffee with a pick-me-up prize like this?

This B-52's punkier, sexier kid sister band. Fun antics and nothing but smiles. They're hot live, too !

Discovered this band after their Ford Commercials were played here in NC a few years ago. Picked it up off of their website and it has since become one of my all time favorite albums. One of the only albums that I can say I actually like every song on. Saw 13 Stories in Charlotte NC at Alley Cats last year - the band has energy, draws the crowd in and puts on a great show. They've already released a new single off of their website (Joy) and it's things are only getting better. Looking forward to their next release!

This is a fun and energetic disc that puts me in a feel good state of mind. It takes me back to when I was more carefree and youthfull. I find only one song that I fond to be a hit but I enjoy it just the same. One may not find this to be right for the if they need more directional change and more hits.

I am in my 50s and usually don't like pop dance music, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I obtained this CD. This is a young group but sounds totally self-assured. Their music is bouncy, funky, pleasant to listen to, and energetic. They really love life and seem to have great fun playing together.

I LOVE this CD! This music is the best I've heard in a decade. 13 Stories melds an eclectic blend of numerous genres, but all with infectious rhythm and energy. This humor-tinged and uplifting music gladly reverberates in my mind throughout my day. The vocals are excellant -- beautiful yet powerful - a balm to the ear and soul and a kick-start to the heart. The instrumentals are varied, captivating, and grab-you-move-you-body-english-inducing ecstasy!
