That's my review. He's funny. Put down your ice cream, turn off Oprah & Bill Maher and buy this. You'll be a better person.

Wow, this guy tops many others, most everything he says puts you close to tears. I really enjoyed this and it bears repeat listens often. Great album.

I first came across Nick DiPaolo when I heard him roast the Julie & Julia film trailer on the Opie and Anthony show about two years ago and found his brand of politically-incorrect commentary really funny. I've been listening to his stand-up material for the last month or so and have been laughing hysterically at his stuff.

This 2008 stand-up special in Minneapolis is a riot, and I dare say one of the funniest stand-up specials in the last 4-5 years (with another masterpiece being Louis CK's "Chewed Up").

In this special, Nick rants on a variety of subjects such as Michael Vick, To Catch a Predator, Rosie O' Donnell, seat belt laws, hotel porn, and a story about a bat flying into his house (among others).

While the whole special is a festival of laughs, one of the funniest bits has to be his rant about the forced political-correctness relating to the crimes Michael Vick committed. He rants about the sports commentators talking about how dog-fighting isn't a race-related issue, then sarcastically says that there's lots of rich white people holding dog-fights behind their garage on the weekends, with Bill Gates and his cronies within Microsoft have 50 Yorkshire terriers in sweaters fighting each other. Nick's dog noises are hilarious in and of themselves because they sound like Donald Duck quacks on speed.

Another notable and hilarious bit has to be with his rant on seat belt laws. He makes a great point about how if he doesn't wear a seat belt, the only person he's harming is himself. He then rants along the lines of "What's gonna happen? Am I going to fly out of the car like a heat-seeking missile and hit a daycare center?" He then debunks the cops' claim that they're looking out with your own health with "What's next, are the cops going to shoot the cheeseburger out of my hand?".

The bat story is a hoot, and the best way to sum it up is when Nick describes a bat as "a rat that got its pilot license."

The last bit I'll talk about is his rant about how To Catch a Predator got canceled because of a lawsuit from one of the "predators" committing suicide over getting caught, and says "So now I live in a world where a guy that likes to touch kids kills himself is a bad thing; in a perfect world, that show would have been picked up for another 25 episodes."

In conclusion, if you love politically-incorrect humor loaded with razor-sharp wit and biting commentary, the Nick DiPaolo album "Funny How?" will reward you greatly. Also, check out his earlier album "Born this Way."

I've been a fan since I first saw (or sawr as he would probably say) him on Tough Crowd years ago. I pretty much own everything he's ever put out, and I've never been disappointed. If you can put your politics--and feelings--aside and just take him for what he is, a hilarious comedian, you won't be disappointed. Trust me. There's never been better. I think he's a genius, and that's not a label I throw around often.
