About the Author

Riley Weber is an author and artist who would rather write books than eat candy. He holds an Associates Degree in Fine Art and a Bachelors in Business, but his true passion lies in writing and illustrating picture books.
On the weekends, you will find Riley composing music on Pro Tools, singing the wrong words to popular songs, strumming the guitar, pounding on the piano, or building Legos with his two young boys. Now, a lot of Riley's free time is spent holding his daughter and trying to calm her when she cries, which is truly one of the best joys in life.
Riley loves to draw caricatures of friends, paint abstract art on canvas with acrylics, and doodle on a notebook during church on Sunday's. To learn more about Riley visit

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids... April 30, 2013

Format:Kindle Edition
I like how younger children reading this book can use the illustrations to predict the joke's response or answer. Very clever jokes. I appreciate clean humor! I think the artwork is awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars A kids' joke book with a difference November 18, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Now for something a little different for kids. Well, also for parents who are a bit fed up with the same old bedtime stories. This Kindle ebook is an illustrated joke book. That is, each joke comes in two parts - the joke question being posed and its punchline - and each part has its own image. This makes the jokes not only more striking but easier to memorize. And half the fun of jokes is being able to remember them to tell to others.

These are simple jokes, but all qualify as fitting the author's stipulations of being funny, short and clean. This means that an adult won't first have to furtively scan through the pages ahead to check their content.

Jokes like this are great for developing a kid's funny bone. More than that, though, they are excellent for developing reading and English language skills. This is a Kindle ebook that a child will enjoy reading through alone again and again, even when a parent has grown weary of it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Jokes for kids December 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a good joke book for little kids. I had no idea what I was getting. I read some to my 42 year old daughter and she thought they were funny but corny. They were of the riddle nature. Get them for your six to ten year olds (maybe 42).

More About the Author

Riley Weber is an enjoyer of evening strolls in the neighborhood when it cools down, he is a frequent local park visitor, a fast food drive thru goer, a coupon clipper, a price-matcher, an early-bird gym goer, a doodler during church, a family man, a bus rider or car-pooler, a short-shower taker, one who stops to help someone with a flat tire, an improviser on the piano, a guitarist who frequently plays and sings Beatles tunes, a lover of weekends, a clean house appreciator, a decent tipper at restaurants, a balloon artist, a collector of building blocks, as well as an author and illustrator on the side.

His day typically begins between 4 and 5 AM, with one of his 'early-bird' children running into his room, waking him up, and begging him to play building blocks. There is no snooze button in this event. However, waking up early has been a blessing in disguise, and he has appreciated this sacred family time.

Riley has enjoyed art and writing for about 3 decades now. During grade school, he would often draw caricatures of his teachers, which sometimes got him in trouble. He studied painting, drawing, and graphic art in the university, as well as business, music, and entrepreneurship.

His love of learning of such various topics is why it took him nearly 10 years after high school to finally earn himself a bachelor's degree in Marketing. However, he met his wife towards the end of his schooling, so it was well worth the time and effort (wink).

Riley Weber was born in Logan, Utah in 1979, and has lived in various countries besides the U.S., such as Mexico and England. He served a two year Mormon mission to Puebla, Mexico, where he learned fluent Spanish, met some wonderful people, and ate the best food on the face of this planet! After he got married, Riley and his new bride spent a half a year living in East Yorkshire, England, while finishing their university degrees. He now resides with his family in hot but lovely, Mesa, Arizona.

Currently, Riley has written, illustrated, and self-published over 20 children's books. He has recorded and released over 10 full children's rock/pop music albums by "Nooshi,"; an artist he created.

One of his books, Tongue Twisters for Kids, has been downloaded over a million times since it was released in 2012, and it has reached the top 5 most downloaded Kindle books, for two years in a row.

He has written and illustrated various other themed tongue twisters and jokes books, and appreciates good humor and putting a smile on people's faces.
