Just a routine, August 17, 2005

I was hoping that some of his classic routines would be on this CD, which is only described as track 1 and 2. I would LOVE to hear Chris Columbus discovering America, Geraldine, etc. But apparently unless I'm willing to pay for vinyl to be converted for $50 [I don't want to hear it THAT much], my wish will remain a wish.

The only Flip cd., August 2, 2006

I wish there were more examples of Flip Wilson on CD. There is this show put out by several different companies so apparently the recording is in public domain. You should buy which ever copy is the less expensive. There are no liner notes so it is impossible to say when this was recorded but I would have to guess mid-1960s. The material is good to hear if you are a fan of Flips though some of his best material would develop later in his career. Hopefully we will get more Flip CDS (Flip Wilson deserves the Laugh.com treatment). Start here and hope for more.
