A collection of very funny riddles, jokes and cartoons.,

This book of jokes, riddles and cartoons is perfect for the child in the latter stages of elementary school, as the entries are very funny. I found myself smiling while I read them. Most of our society tends to look at science as serious business, which is true, but society also views scientists as asocial, humorless eggheads, which they are not. All of the scientists that I have known possessed a major segment of jokester, able to appreciate more than the occasional giggle.These jokes are about science, and as such tend to make it appear less esoteric. That alone is a good thing, but the fact that you can get that and some good laughs makes this book one I strongly recommend for children. |
