This is a somewhat of a different type of a album. I still enjoyed it. I can listen to any thing he wants to sing. He has that certian kind of voice that just beautiful. He is just a beautiful type of person in general, so of course it will flow when he sings! I wish I could get all of his albums he's ever made.

Rodriguez Keeps It Country!!!!!!!!!, July 28, 1999

In this day and age of so-called "new country" music, there are still people who perform REAL country. Johnny Rodriguez is one of them, although by industry standards he is TOO "country" to be played on country radio. This is a shame, as we miss-out on so much good music by the likes of Rodriguez, Jones, Watson, etc. Johnny has a superb voice and always selects traditional country tunes to record. This album is no exception. However, it does seem like the quality of the recording (no fault of Johnny's) lacks in comparison to his Epic recordings. He's done quite a bit of work on independent labels during the 1990s, and the earlier work sounds more like major-label recordings than this CD does. If the listener can push that fact to the side, this is an enjoyable album!!!!!!
