My 4 yr old niece got this for her birthday and it was a hit at her party! My 2 1/2 yr old daughter and 9 month old daughter (and all the other young guests) were completely enthralled by this toy for quite some time. I thought for sure I was going to be buying one of these pronto!! However, after about an hour or two of kiddie abuse, it stopped blowing bubbles even though the blower was still going strong. Fresh bubble solution would yield no results either. We were completely baffled as to why the bubbles wouldn't come out anymore except perhaps that the toy was drenched in bubble solution. And the on/off button does get wet as well so turning it on and off was also starting to fail. The kids had a blast while it worked though and maybe now that it has had a chance to dry out, it will work again. I have rethought about buying this toy until after I have talked to my sister to see if it is in once again working order. One last note, this toy can get VERY messy! It is easy to topple over especially when several kids are trying to play with it at one time and that causes bubble solution to go everywhere!

I saw the reviews about this being flimsy and the problems with the bubble goo getting into the battery compartment. I haven't had these problems. It's not super durable and can tip over if you're not setting it on a solid, flat surface. The bubble goo goes right through the thing--there are vents for this purpose--and the instructions tell you to let water flow right over the thing for cleaning, but don't tip it or the water will enter the motor. We've played with it a lot, no problems, only a little tipping, and I'd definitely buy it as a gift for someone.

This did nit work for us at all. it didn't make any bubbles, it would blow right throw and pop the solution before a bubble even formed. It is really cute, my son just pretends he is BBQing on it, don't even try messing with the bubbles. I would not recommend this to anyone.
