I saw a chimp in the window of a second hand store and fell in love with him. They told me he was not for sale. They used him as a mascot. I asked if they would look at the tag for a manufacturer. I was shocked to find out it was a Furreal Friend. I ordered one for myself. I love him so much. He is so realistic. He laughs when you tickle his feet, claps his hands, surps on his bottle then afterwards either burps or gets the hiccups. You never know what he might do. If I leave him and walk off, as soon as I walk by, he holds his arms up for me. He coos and hugs. When I hold him and look into his eyes, his eyes and facial expressions change. Everyone thinks I am crazy or going through a 2nd childhood, but I love him so much. My grandchildren love him, too. So I have bought another one for my granddaughter's next birthday.

Great for my grandaughter playing pretend baby. She absolutely adores it! Makes it seem real with the movements and noises.

Bought this for our 3 1/2+ year old grandaughter. She loved it......in fact, we ALL loved it! Just wanted something other than a doll and this fit the bill. Was happy for other Amazon ratings which guided me to the Furreal monkey because of its love-ability! A little child might manhandle the arms, and I'm afraid that might break the toy......but it was a very special gift that delighted our little girl!

My 23 month old daughter ended up getting this before Christmas because we had forgotten to hide it well enough after it arrived. She was VERY excited at first and played with it quite a bit for the first couple of days. Maybe she is too young for it. The description says it is supposed to make slurping sounds when you feed it the bottle, but either we're doing something wrong or ours is defective. It does hiccup and "burp" Also, the facial expressions don't really change much. The little chimp sounds are cute. If I had to do it over again, I would probably wait until she was older and asked for this specifically.

I was in a thrift store last week just looking around. I saw a monkey that looked like a real chimp sitting on a shelf
of toys.I picked it up and it made a noise and moved! The price tag said $2.99.Price was right, got to have this monkey.A lady in line told me it was a Furreal Friend. I looked it up on line when I got home. She claps, holds her
arms out, giggles, makes sucking sounds, burps, hiccups. She doesn't have a bottle, but you can stick your finger
in her mouth and it does the same.My 13yr old had a Furreal pig, but it was nothing like this monkey.
It had been played with so little, it still had original batteries.I always wanted a pet monkey as a kid.
I have an adult son, but I just love this monkey. She has a pink bow in her hair now. I got mine for a song,
but I would have paid $40 for her because she is so cute and realistic.It was the best $3 that I ever spent.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this monkey! Her younger cousins that come over are terrified of it though and we have to hide it! She named him Chunky and wants to carry him everywhere. His arms aren't very durable though. All of the "hugging" she is doing to Chunky has made them sort of weak.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She is two and she is totally crazy about monkeys. When I took it out of the box I was totally suprised at how realistic this was. It even sounds realistic. I'm not sure I would want to go to the zoo with it, they might think we were kidnapping a chimp! As for the review that it scared a little one, I could see that, but it does not deserve the right to be given a bad review for being realistic.

Im not sure what they are smoking on here but if you go to Hasbro's website they (the Maker's of the toy) say this thing is to be sold for 49.99 not $150.00 like it is on here...they are ripping you off, go to walmart or kmarts website.

I am very pleased with the purchace of the furreal friend cuddle chimp. If fact this is the 3rd chimp purchased. The latest one for my grandaughter who is 18 months and loves to play and cuddle with it. thanks

This was the best price i could find. And my grandaughter loved it. Every place i looked was sold out. Very hard to find.
