I got this bird for my 2.5 year old son and the other red/yellow one for my 5 year old daughter. They are pretty cute but don't do much. The only time they move or tweet is if you press their tongue down in their beaks. It would be nicer if they would wake up when you pet them. My kids are also having a hard time holding them .... they tend to want to hold the body, therefore they hold the wings down too. All in all, it is a pretty good toy, especially if your child has a great imagination and doesn't really care if the bird interacts with them.

My 2 yr old granddaughter had seen it in the store and it had become unavailable. It arrived just days after being ordered and she loved being able to feed it. She learned that most of the bottles from her other dolls would work with it too, another plus!

The Fur Real bird is beautiful with it's blue and violet colors which is why I chose it. I am a fan of the Fur Real pets.
