A City Adventure for Furry Frenzies
The charming Scoot and Scurry City features all-plastic construction in bright pastels, with tracks to scurry over, gates that swing open, and tunnels to zoom through. Meet Tizzy Tumbles
The Scoot and Scurry City play set comes with one Furry Frenzy--a cute bunny named Tizzy Tumbles. Like all Furry Frenzies, Tizzy is a furry, battery-operated, palm-sized pet that zooms along on hidden wheels. Press its nose to hear it squeak and giggle, or press its back to get Tizzy moving. Tizzy will scurry up and down the track, zoom through tunnels and around the park, knock over buckets, and stop every once in a while to sniff and take in its surroundings.
If Tizzy escapes the Scoot and Scurry City through one of the gates, Tizzy will continue its adventuring around the house, backing up if it bumps its nose and cannot move forward. Like all Furry Frenzies, Tizzy is programmed to scurry for up to two minutes, and will go to "sleep" if it isn't reactivated after that time.
Innovative and Charming Way to Play
Furry Frenzies offer a cute and fun outlet for kids' imaginations, and the Scoot and Scurry City adds to the creative fun. Children who already own other Furry Frenzies can add them to the Scoot and Scurry City action, engage in role-playing, and simply have fun watching the pets scurry and bump into each other.
Scurrying Tips
Furry Frenzies work best on a smooth surface. They will run on carpet with a very low pile, but our tester found that they don't go as quickly on carpet as on hard floors. This toy can get tangled in long carpet and in hair, so children should be supervised when playing.
Easy Assembly
Assembly of the Scoot and Scurry City is a small challenge. Each portion of the city is separately packaged with all of its parts, and easy-to-follow diagrams make the assembly simple. Applying the 50 decorative stickers will require some patience, but luckily, older kids will have fun assisting in this portion of the assembly.

Well, my video review explains everything, so watch that and I think you will get a good sense of the toy, how it works, and what to expect from it. :) The only thing I discovered is, there are ways to place the fence to make sure the critter does not get stuck. :D Just be careful of the fence placement. :D
Overall, a fun, but not particularly interactive toy, sound effects remind me of a Furbie, but LESS annoying, and cuter, and does not wake up when you walk in to the room, you have to touch it to wake it up. The only real downside is that it takes a while to put together, and I gave up on the actual instructions, and just used the box as a visual aid, there was only one thing I was able to really use in the instructions, and that was where to place one of the post to go under the road, other than that, I couldn't figure out anything, but this is probably also because I am a highly visual person, and if you give me instructions, unless they are VERY clearly written along with the visuals, forget it, I am just better off with the visuals. So if you aren't like me, you will probably be fine with the instructions. :D

Assembly - 20 minutes, one screw to add a battery to the rabbit

When I first saw the Furry Frenzies City Center play set I refused to let my daughters get it. Last year they spent their holiday money on Zhu Zhu Pets - Funhouse Set with Hamster and we absolutely hated it. Before a month was out, we'd discarded all the track, but kept their pets. However, the City Center is much more compact than the Zhu Zhu track and far easier to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes from opening the box to finishing the last sticker (I disagree with the instructions - put the stickers on FIRST because there are a lot of them) and setting the kids loose. Oddly, there was no battery in the pet, although Furry Frenzies sold by themselves have the battery installed. The girls prefer this play set to their old track because it is more imagination friendly. The mechanical pets don't do much but run around the track, but the track is themed brightly and has been divided into sections 'store' or 'park' or 'alley' instead of being set up as rooms. It looks like a Littlest Pet Shop play set if LPS were the the size of your fist.
The Furry Frenzies, in the words of my 6 year old "Are just SO CUTE" and run about the track following the path the child sets with the gates. When the Furry Frenzies reaches a closed gate, it stops, lifts it's face up, and assumes a sort of begging position. The child can then turn it around or open the gate for the pet. When a Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster reaches the gate or one of the twists on the tunnel it also half elevates, but it doesn't stop moving. It rubs against the obstacle. My kids were perfectly happy to redirect the Zhu Zhu and keep playing. They are using this playset with two Furry Frenzies (bunny & cat) and a bucket full of Zhu Zhu pets. I see it easily lasting for months, there is none of the frustration they had with the other playset. I will probably get a set for each of my nieces.

Both of my kids have Zhu Zhu pets along with many of the track pieces. At first my 10-year old daughter had a negative opinion of FurReal Friends calling them, "a rip off of Zhu Zhu pets". After playing with the toy for a couple of hours both her and her little brother had both their FurReal pets and Zhu Zhu pets running through the play set. They enjoyed the different pieces and spent some time setting it up. But alas, after a couple of days the play set was pushed aside and is now ignored. It should be noted that the kids have also grown bored of their Zhu Zhu pets. So that may have been that cause of this boredom.
As a parent, the toy looks okay. It is well constructed, but will require some adult help in assembly (like most kids toys). I really don't care for these types of toys because they tend to limit the kids imagination and thus get bored quicker.
