My elderly mother missed her kitty while in a nursing home. I purchased this Cuddlin Kitty Cat to keep her company. She LOVED it. The nurses loved it! So did the Doctor! This cat was a hit with everyone who saw it. Mom is blind and she could feel it purr, and hear it meow. It was a great comfort to her. This is a cat for all ages.

This cat is eerily real -- it meows, blinks its eyes, licks its paw and rolls on its side when petted. My 6 yo daughter loves playing with it, especially with the smaller cat with the bottle. My main complaint is the price on Amazon -- a full $10 more than what we paid at Toys R Us.

I have a 6 y/o animal LOVER so this was a perfect toy for her. She squealed right when she saw it and couldn't wait to get it open. The cat is very responsive so my daughter doesn't have to do much to get a movement or meow from her. She is so soft and just the right size. She couldn't wait to put her new "pet" in her stroller and take her to meet her friends in the neighborhood. Of course my daughter changed her cats name. Also, as usual, her big brothers got in the mix and enjoy playing with the new family cat. The sound is good too. Not too loud. I am allergic to real cats so this is definately the next best thing!

....for those who've ever ridden in a car with a real cat, you can relate to the humor. This cat pretty much meowed the whole way home. Super cute, my daughter is in love with it. Our real cats are freaked out though. When you take it out of the box, you need to open up the cat on the bottom and flip the switch from "try" mode to "on" mode. You can also turn it off. Thank you to the manufacturers for that.

Got this for my 3 to be 4 yr-old and she is the happiest girl in the world! She carried it all around after getting it Saturday and you can't believe how many people did double takes at the restaurant and the mall.

I think you need to be very careful with it though, as with all the moving parts and mechanics that make it what it is, you literally have to treat it like a real animal.

But as someone else said, my wife is allergic and it's the closest thing you can get....but no food, fur or litter box!

I bought this toy because I found that real cats were always so relaxing for me to look at as they put their paws up to their mouth and licked their paws to clean their face. When I found out that this toy does do that, and also cleans its' whiskers, I just had to have it. It meows very realistically and performs everything that it is supposed to do. I really like it when it pushes its' face into my hand like a real kitten would do. I am extremely satisfied with this toy kitten. The purring sound is very realistic also. I just wish that Hasbro would have made a toy kitten (with all these features) that walked around on its own. I also wish that its' paws would be able try and catch a piece of string!!!. Am I asking for too much?

My blood pressure has dropped considerably since I have robotic pets which is a big plus for me!!! I do recommend this pet kitten for a very overly active adult who wants something that they could pet or even just look at to "calm" them down. This kitten would be great for children to play with also. It is very realistic. Its' eyes look like it is really thinking and looking up at you.

She is lots of fun. My Mom bought her after I saw the ad on TV. She loves you alot after you get her. She likes to move. This is the only way I could get a cat because my Dad and Grandma are allergic to cats.

This realistic, cuddly kitty is the best bday gift I could have given my 3 year old. She plays with it every day. But please, don't pay more than $40 for it. I got it from Walmart for that price. (Probably worth closer to $20, but it was so cute I had to have it!)

I gave this to a women that is now considered completely BLIND, she could see somewhat, but could see movements, and felt so much love and happiness, she wants to sleep with it, this womwn is 91, her daughter is 60, and loves expressions from it . The cat they had in their lives was LULU.

I'm not a cat-person and if there was a dog version that's as nice, I would've preferred that, however, a cat is more docile and easier to recreate its behaviour than a bouncy active dog, so I understand why a cat was chosen as their product.

My 5yo son loves animals and the place where we live right now doesn't allow a furry companion. This cat toy is quite realistic and very interactive, the way it moves, reacts to touch and movements makes it a good toy for a kid to learn how to treat a pet well and helps parents see how "prepared" the child is when its time to give him/her a real pet to take care of. If your child loses interest quickly, chances are the child isn't very interested in having a pet.

I like how the cat moves randomly when left alone and purrs on its own. Battery life is acceptable for a toy that requires that much animatronics. I wish it wasn't too realistic where it actually sheds, though. Quite a bit of hair flies around when you comb it.

Overall, it's a nice toy to have. I don't quite agree that the child will lose interest because of the limited movement as cats don't exactly do anything in real life and most toys in the market don't do anything at all and still offers great fun.
