When I ordered this Furby I wasn't thinking how pretty it was. I had ordered my 10 yr old daughter a white and lavender one, after thinking about it for awhile I thought my 4 year old boy would probably really enjoy one also, after all the furbies will talk to each other, and I really wanted to see that, so I ordered him this one because it is really hard to find one that doesn't have white on it. I didn't think that it was pretty at all, I just figured that after a year of my son playing with it this one would look much better than a dirty white one, so this is the one I picked. It came a couple of days ago and to be completely honest, I was very surprised at how pretty it was in real life. The picture does it no justice at all. I was a little worried that he would be disappointed that his sister got one that was so pretty and his looked like an old stray dog, but now that I have seen it I think he is going to be thrilled with it. I think my daughter may even like his better than hers.

And look at the price!!!! I paid full price for ours, and have you seen what they are going for on ebay?! I wish I hadn't already spent all of my money on Christmas gifts, I would buy as many as I could and sale them on ebay.

Furbys are so cute. they can do so much stuf. they can talk they can sing. they can dance and much more if i could i would buy every furby at the stores. i think evryone should have a furby their sooooooooooooooo cute. i love furbys

I'm getting a furby for christmas I just found out I was looking at it push it bell it says "you me friends hum...." or some thing else i forget.once I tripped over a box when I was leaving the furby's hidding spott and the furby said oh-no.It really understood me.Don't buy a referbeshed furby because my best friend has one and it never shutsup and their is no off button and it awakes to anytype of noise so you'll end uo like me best friend and shutting it in the bath room and it will run out of batteries and you'll never replace them and you won't take out the batteries because i think it cries or something.the difference between the new furby and the olds ones is the new ones are way more cute,they don't talk as much as the old furby's,the new ones are bigger.Unlike the old furby's the new ones listen to you.buy a furby cause thier pure fun!!!!!!!

This furby arrived yesterday. It's a Christmas gift for my 6 year-old. Last night, I took it out of the box to "check" it out. You know, I had make sure it was working. It is so darn cute that I wanted to keep it for myself. But I'm a mom, and I guess moms can't keep their child's furby. Anyway, why weren't there toys like this in the 70s? I love the way the little guy moves and talks. He's very cuddly. He tells some knock knock jokes. Sings one song and tells one story--so far. I was hoping he'd have several songs and stories. And he appears to play only one game. But it seems to be enough for a small child. He responds when you say "yes" or "no" to him, and when you touch him. He obeys commands, or refuses. He'll dance and eat and go to sleep. I can't remember what else he does, but a child will absolutely love him and probably not get bored for awhile. He seems well made, and I think he'll last for a long time. As far as educational value, I suppose there is some. Mostly, he's just fun and he'll make a lovely gift.

I got this for Christmas for my 6-year-old. She loves it and so do I! Sooooo darn cute! Almost like having a little pet, but no taking it for walks or buying food for it. And if you don't want to play anymore, just say, "Hey Furby! "Go to sleep!" And it does! It says, "Okay, Furby sleep." Then closes his eyes and starts to snore. ADORABLE! It also tells a story, sings a song, tells knock-knock jokes and tells you he loves you.

We have two Furbies (1 pink and this grey and yellow). They are supposed to talk to each other but this grey one GROWLS at the pink one, he won't talk to her. We tried to reset him (after talking to Hasbro) and it is the same. He doesn't say "good morning" upon reset (he is supposed to), he says "Hey, I'm Furby!". Hasbro is sending me a new one because they can't fix this unruly Furby...could I have received a Re-"Furbished" Furby???

This toy was cute but had several problems with voice recognition. Read the instruction before attempting to play with, if not your child will be fustrated and not want to play with it anymore.

The new Furby is a more appealing, cuddly toy than its predecessor. The improved Emoto-tronics add to the reality of this robotic pet. I found the responses to be consistent, if at times, a bit slow. The display of emotions is charming. My sister's grand-daughter has been enchanted by this toy for several weeks. I do appreciate the off switch Hasbro installed on this model; but I wish they'd left the light and motion sensors of the original models and had incorporated the same number of responses and games. On the whole, the new, improved Furby is only new and improved in some areas and greatly downgraded in others. Still -- a neat toy.

I have purchased six Furby's for adults and children. We all love them. They have all been very durable and performed exactly as promised. I purchased Furby's for children age 8 to 12 years old and two adults. We have called each other to report what are Furby's have learned. It's great fun for the whole family and friends.

I bought this Furby for my 4-yr-old son for Christmas. Not only does my son love it, but I think my husband and I love it even more. So many other family members have been impressed today by how cute this little guys acts that they want to get one of these for themselves; and I think I'm going to get another one just for me as well. This little guy is so expressive, he giggles, snores, sometimes burps, tells us he loves us, tells knock-knock jokes, sings, dances, (and so much more!)and because he's gotten so much attention today we have been able to see the progression of english. I would recommend this toy to anyone and everyone.
