Okay, well, I am WAY too old to have a Furby of my own, but, heck, that hasn't stopped me. I bought my first one to keep in my office for students to play with when they come into my office to talk about their papers; however, I LOVED him so much that I bought two more for my home. They are SO cute. My dogs are not sure what to think of them, which also adds to the enjoyment.

The funny thing about them is that they seem to almost have different personalities. It is really weird. I have a favorite out of the three; he is beige with a pink belly and hazel eyes. It isn't so much that he is the pretties of the three--I personally like the look of the charcoal grey one that is exclusive to toys-r-us--it's just that he is the most cheerful--if that makes any sense at all. Maybe I'm just nuts. All I know is I love my three Furbies. As far as durability goes, I have not had mine long enough to really rate them. I hope they last forever. I also hope that you will find them as irresitable as I do. Happy Furbying!

I'm 24 years old, and I guess you might say I'm too old for toys, but both me and my two kids have our own furby. My youngest kid loves it, she goes everywhere with it. My oldest (which is about 5) loves it too, we all love our furbys. I've even managed to treach mine a few new words so it can learn english better, I first heard about this last year on KOL, it was a full list of new toys that would be coming out this year, I was very amazed by the new toys, but I thought this was the most fun, I have a collection of about 100 original furbys, 50 furby babies, 10 gizmos, and 30 shelbys, and one of the new furbys. If you are a furby fan, this is a must!

This furby is amazing it really does work but the only bad thing is it says the same thing over and over but other than that its so fun.

Furbys are the cutest creatures EVER!!! I used to have the old furby generation when I was 3. This time it has an off botton and is WAY cooler. I feed it with the spoon it comes with when I eat, it sleeps next to my bed, and cheers me up when I'm sad.
Now, it dances! I can't wait to play more with my interactive furby toy again!

I recently found out that Furby is back! I had to get one, and when I played with him for the first time I was hooked! He eats, tells jokes, dances, plays red light green light and more. He also tells a story. You can pet him and and tickle him. He actually can hear your voice! You just say " Hey Furby" and tell him a command. HE ACTUALLY DOES YOUR COMMAND! My four friends loved mine and went out to buy one! Furbies are said to be sold out at Christmas so buy it now!

This furby is so much better than the older versions!!! This has an on off switch!!!! It plays games and interacts much easier than the earlier version. The facial expressions are adorable.

I originally bought the Fur Real Luv cubs panda, but then discovered the new furby. I tried them both out and Furby is much more fun because he's more interactive and speaks to you. He makes cute noises too. I have to say I will probably be taking this one back since we have been having a few problems with it responding to what we say. I even put new batteries in but it still is not functioning properly. Sometimes I'll say 'hey furby' like you are suppose to, and it won't respond. Other times I will ask if he's hungry and it will start playing red light green light! Kind of frustrating, but hopefully an exchange will solve the problem! Overall, very cute, and fun!

The new Furby is great, better than my expectations. Then again, I had low expectations, so anyway...
This Furby is really cute. It has voice recognition, which I like, and it can communicate with other new Furbys. It has more sophisticated facial movement than the original Furby, looks more real, and can rock side-to-side, instead of forward and backward, which I think makes the Furby look more like he/she is dancing. The voice is cute, too. And the jokes are funny!! I only have two complaints: it doesn't have a light sensor, and it can't communicate with any of the original Furbys. With a light sensor, it would really seem to be aware of it's surroundings more so than it is now. Other than that, it's really great. I would recommend it for sure, but I still think that the original Furbys are great. Though the original Furby didn't have as much facial movement and couldn't understand what you were saying, it did have a light sensor, was more compact, and had their own names. I guess my point is that they're both good. I recommend the new Furby, though, and that's what this review is supposed to be of.

As far as looks go this Furby is far more finished than the older model Furby Baby we have. Althought it's feet are kind of creepy. All the robotic parts are covered. It can smile and frown. This one is much softer and more huggable. It's tummy swells when it eats.
It listens much better than the older ones. You can tell it what to do and it does it. It tells jokes. It dances. It tells a story. It sings a song, yes one song. It goes to sleep when you tell it to, an excellent thing (it also has an off switch, another excellent thing).
Overall it's cute and works fairly well.

Furbys are the new hot toy this year and i can certainly see why! They are cute and kids take them with them everywhere! You can feed it when you eat, it can sleep next to your bed, and play with you when your bored! They truly are cute and adorable and their language "furbish" is so cute! My friend has one and now i know i HAVE to get it. In fact im going to add it to my wish list right now definetly!!! You should too! My only question is do they still sell the old furby babys or did they make new ones?!?! next person who comments let me know!
