Füritechnics developed this technology to overcome the hygiene and durability problems found in regular plastic/wood handles and fashionable metal-handled knives, and to ensure the Füri® knives used by working chefs are extremely strong and perfectly weighted. Three parts are fused into one seamless piece: instead of traditionally adding handle parts around a forged tang, the FX handle is the tang. ive heard a few bad reviews on furi knives so was skeptical...but have to say really impressed with this knife,cuts cleanly & is very confy,price point here was the best ive seen..top job amason.
