The F1000-UPS's robust control features include an RS-232 interface, providing custom installers with open-source programmability options and allow the unit to interface with automation systems. A unique, patent pending IR blaster can send IR commands to a remotely located component - for example, the F1000-UPS can send shutdown command to a ceiling-mounted DLP projector when there is a power outage so that it can run its fan and cool down the bulb properly. The F1000-UPS also includes a USB interface and Power Control Software for communication with Windows-based PCs. Critical Load Management allows the user to program selected outlets to maintain power longer than others and divert battery power to critical components for a longer runtime in the event of a blackout.

The F1000 UPS has all of the features of a UPS device you will need. The F1000 VA Battery Backup maintains critical data and allows orderly shutdown in the event of a power outage. At the same time, Voltage Regulation provides a consistent 120V (±5V) output for smooth power flow.
