I just received this Moroccan-Style lantern and it is completely RUSTED. It is made in China~ cheaply done.
I also think the company selling this should check the items before they mail a rusty lantern to a paying customer. Very unprofessional. The cost is low, so I do not plan to return it~ a lot of trouble for $7 lantern...especially during holidays. World Market store has quality lanterns made in India. I would not bother with this item again.

Not the color it appears,

In the picture the lantern looks purple, but it's actually a dark pink shade. While it's otherwise a decent product, the picture is deceptive.

This product is perfect for what I wanted it for. I hung it in my sunroom for a delicate light. I use battery operated candles inside for safety sake. But you have to find white light candles, not yellow light candles, so you can still get the proper color from the glass. And I like the fact that the holes in the top of the lantern cast a lighted design as well.
As far as this company; they shipped it properly and I received all three Moroccan Style lights at one time. Very happy.

Not what I expected,

I guess I got what I paid for, but I was expecting something 2 or 3 times larger. The lantern is only about 5 inches tall, only big enough for a tea light, and not big enough to put wiring in to make an electric lamp which was my original plan.
Also, the glass is dark pink, more of a magenta than violet purple as is shown in the picture. In addition, it isn't made very well, the metal pieces look like they were stuck together quickly, at odd angles, so the lantern doesn't hang entirely straight. The metal has sort of a brown, rusty patina to it too, not the antique brass look of the picture. I won't return it. It's not worth it at that price. I will get something else to use as a lamp in my library room, and will probably buy a couple more of these little candle lanterns in other colors to combine with this one and use them out in my garden.

Made in China....this lantern is not as elegant as it looks in the photo.....too much hassle to take back.....possibly an outdoor lantern

Very pretty,

It glows more pink than purple and is much smaller than thought. It survived shipping beautifully and has so far survived my scented tea light candles without any heat tension damage. For perspective sake, the glass portion is only about 2 inches long and one inch wide so hanging it near a wall would ensure a better pattern display when lit.

I read some reviews of this product before buying it and I can say I m a little bit disappointed with it. It's pretty, ok, works well, but it is kind of crooked, curved, not very well made.

I got two of these, they look great. Actual glass and metal. The glass is a dark pink/purple-ish. Very happy with them!

A pretty little lamp.,

When I say little, I mean it. The candle holder is designed for one tea-light candle, and I can't see myself putting in anything larger than that. The black finish is matte, and I'd say the glass is more of a red/pink than violet. Hanging chain is only about six inches long, but sturdy. I will probably buy another one or two for greater effect.

Very small, bent on top and near the door of the opening where you insert a tea light candle...the color is attractive though. I would take it back but the shipping is soo expensive.
