I bought this for my 90 year old mother with Alzheimers. She gets very anxious in the evening, typical sundowning. This is the best purchase I have ever made! She sits and talks to it, sings to it,pets it, tries to feed it. It gives her something that SHE can take care of. Our other kitties are not lap kitties but this one will sit with her forever. It has so much presence that we all find ourselves talking to it and petting it. Either we are all crazy or this thing is great. She is very gentle with it so no worries, but with all the little servos that run it, I wouldn't give it to a child that is not old enough to take care with it, or at the least, be there to supervise. It would be great for those that can't have a pet.

I bought Lulu the Cuddlin' Cat because my last cat just died of old age (at age 14) and I've had repeated urination and odor problems in my apartment. Lulu is extremely realistic! After I played with Lulu the first couple of times, I immediately went to the bathroom mirror to see if there was joy in my eyes. There WAS joy - just as intense as when I used to play with my late real cat Tippy. Lulu has three different kinds of meows, two purring routines (one where she moves her cheek and another where she lifts her paw), and when you pet her back region she rolls over on her back to let you pet her tummy, then she purrs, then she recovers. She blinks her eyes and makes many small movements just like a real cat. She has five sensors on her body that respond to your touch. No rent surcharge, don't have to buy cat food or cat litter, and no veterinary bills! No urination problems and no odor in the apartment! I'm very happy with Lulu!

This cat was bought for my 90 year old grandmother who has missed having a cat terribly. She isn't able to take care of the litterbox or could trip over a moving cat due to bad eyesight. Grandmom loves how Lulu moves and meows and blinks and interacts with her. Lulu is realistic looking and the mechanical parts aren't so loud to be distracting. Well worth the price for anyone who wants a cat but can't have a live one. Might be a little delicate for a rough child though.

I purchased 2 cats for family members who are nursing home residents. They LOVE them. The cats are calming for these dementia sufferers. It gives them something to hold and love that responds to their touch. A wonderful gift!

This toy is amazing,bought it for our granddaughter's third birthday and when she opened the box, the motion caused it to meow which excited her, screaming "it's a kitty, I got a kitty" ... so real and life like. she carried it around all day, giving it a name, brushing it's fur. for anyone who can not care for a real cat. This is awesome. A+ satifaction from order to delevery.

My kid wanted a cat so our family got her this. We don't need another real pet. She loves it. I loved it at first, until I realized that IT SHEDS!

My child wanted a cat, but we have two dogs; so this was the best bet. This cat did the trick! It is so life-like and adorable. Has sleep mode and you can turn it off when you like. Absolutely purrfect!

I just recently purchased Lulu: Cuddling Kitty Cat as my beloved cat Samantha passed away on the 14Dec10. She was 14yrs old and a wonderful little companion and the love of our lives. I just received Lulu today and I can't believe how realistic this cat is and how beautiful she looks and feels. She makes the cutest sounds and moves and it truly feels like she comes to life as you touch it. As my husband and I do not want to get another cat as no one can replace Samantha, this cat comes as close to having a new pet in our house. I would recommend this to anyone at any age. She is very well crafted and the presentation is well worth what you will pay for it. If you have lost a cat or are allergic and would like one, I highly recommend Lulu for you. You will definitely not be disappointed. Great price, fast delivery and will be enjoyed for years to come. Thank you!

I recently purchased this toy for my niece - about 5 days before Christmas - I was procrastinating, couldn't make my mind up what to get as I wanted to make sure I got something she would love. The item was delivered very quickly, in great condition and actually arrived in time for a Christmas gift which surprised my sister and I especially since I was so late in making the purchase. Anyway, we figured it wouldn't arrive until after the holidays. Thank you Amazon! My little niece absolutely loves her new kitty (yeah!) and as it turns out so does her brother (they are 2 and 5 years old). I'm very pleased that it is so well-loved...my niece loves all animals so if you are looking for a gift for a little one who loves animals, I would highly recommend this item. One note: it really does make cat noises and movements and startled my sister when she was wrapping the gift. We were concerned that these movements might startle my little niece but she wasn't afraid of the cat and loves it dearly - may even be her favorite gift from Santa this year.

I bought this after reading the reviews here and i am glad i am not disappointed..

The kitty works fine and it's adorable, realistic meow and sounds as its meant to be, the demo mode is ok and responsive.

Me and my mom loves it, as this helps us alittle seems we can't get a real cat for some reason.
