I have been searching for a product that I could use for my dog in the front seat area of my car for a while, but regular bowls just wouldn't work. The To Go Bowl is exactly what I have been looking for. It uses your cup holder as it's base (it can also be used on a flat surface by taking the cup holder base off) so now you can always have water for your pooch while traveling.
One feature I really like is that the cup holder base is off center, so you can easily fit the bowl in a cup holder that's not in the middle of your console. (mine is closer to the front of my car panel, so since the base is off center I can place the bowl there, otherwise it wouldn't fit.)
Both my 20 pound dog and 75 pound dog are able to use this. I assume a large dog with a big/short snout might not be able to use it as easily.
I have one for my car, and will buy another one for my Golf Cart. Great product.

When I travel with my two Standard Poodles, they get real thirsty. With the TO GO BOWL, I now have the perfect product for my dogs. The TO GO BOWL keeps both of my dogs hydrated while traveling with them. When they're thirsty, they just help themselves. It's great! The To Go Bowl keeps my attention on the road when I travel because I know my dogs thirsts are taken care of.

The inventor of this product should get an award for developing such a great travel aid for pets and pet owners. And, I especially like the fact that it's a product made in the USA.

I was actually thinking about inventing something similar to this, but then I found this on Amazon. I have a 2007 Toyota RAV4, and there are small cupholders (perfect for 12 oz bottles of water) in the back cargo area, one on each side. Since my dogs occupy that space for a lot of time, I always wanted to take advantage of those cupholders but couldn't. This product fits perfectly in the smaller cupholders, and it holds plenty of water. The lid keeps the water from splashing around and it's perfect for my medium and large dogs. The only thing problem with this product is if you leave water in there and it becomes hot or cold in the car. The water will either be scorching hot, or icy cold if not frozen depending on the extremes. For road trips, the dogs can have easy access to water on one side and food on the other. The screw off adapter, that allows the bowl to sit securely within the cupholders is hollow enough to hold some food. It's really not that much food, so I filled it with pennies instead. That will keep it from popping out of the cupholder if i drive a bit more aggressively or over rough roads. All in all, for those who enjoy taking long road trips with their dogs, this is a perfect car solution. It's worth every penny, and I can utilize that space more smartly.

Just got back from two long road trips (10 - 12 hours per day). It was so nice to have water available for my dog all the time. Having the treats in the cup was pretty handy, too. And using the bowl in the hotel since my dog doesn't like the folding bowls.
After reading the above review, I thought I'd try the bowl in three different cup holder sizes in our SUV. I found it to fit all of them, but I will say the largest cup holder didn't hold it as firmly as the smaller 2. It seemed to still work fine, though. It is also very sturdy - I dropped it more than once. I had no problem with the parts fitting properly. It has been through the dishwasher several times and still looks and works great.
I think it is a great product and am surprised no one thought of it before now!

I ordered this Pet Travel bowl after seeing it online in a few places. I was very excited to get it. Unfortunately I found that there are two main problems with it: 1) the cup portion (which keeps it stationary) is too small for the standard cup holder found in my car (even with the added rubber piece they send to make it fit universal cup holders); 2) secondly, the splash guard that is on the top does not have any way to snap onto the cup. It falls off into the water too easily when my dog drank from it.

The purchase was easy and delivered easily-- but the product was not up to my expectations.
