5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book
I have read this book and you will find many jewels of how to "think" and how "not to think" when shooting clay targets in competition. It is well worth reading. The slower you read this book the more you will retain for there is much here hidden within each page. Many top shooters I know have read this book, you should too.

2.0 out of 5 stars Price correction?
I always read "Mental Training" in Shotgun Sports Magazine and this month I decided to buy Michael Keys book. I checked on Amazon.com to see if just maybe they would offer a better price. I was shocked to see the Amizon price listed at $139.95. Shotgun Sports Magazine offers it for $29.95. Am I missing something or is it just a misprint?

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read to improve your clay target scores, April 13, 1999

Having shot clay targets for a few years. The ideas in the book were not out of the blue. The author just layed it out in a clear manner. I especially liked the way in which he list the different level of shooters. So you can get a better feel where you are and what you need to train on.....I would recomend this book to anyone who wants to inprove their score in any of the clay target sport...It is not written for a golfers eyes it is written in a shooters eyes. So the visualization process is easier to see the point ans the Targets turn to Dust.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thorough & In-depth "System", January 18, 1999
This review is from: Further Adventures, Inc. presents mental training for the shotgun sports: Compiled from Michael Keyes' articles in Shotgun sports magazine (Paperback)
My shooting buddies and I have had many discussions around the mental side of the game. "How do you turn it on?" "If you really concentrate on winning the big tournament, you will put too much pressure on yourself."

Dr. Keyes really puts all the mental aspects of shooting together into a comprehensive system that can allow you to know where you are mentally and how to get where you want to go. Very interesting and enlightening.
