I found this book through some now forgotten blog, ordered it ASAP, and have been laughing ever since. You'll need to be a fan of Punch, Twainian dialect, and have some memory of the ever bizarre world of Idi Amin to enjoy it, but I'm enjoying each essay!Basically a bunch of essays from Punch in the 70's, Corey deftly skewers the skewerable in the EU and Africa - a target rich environment to be sure! |
