This book is dark, delightful, and not for the weak of heart. The images read as a tongue-in-cheek play on human sexuality, a dichotomy of intimacy and disconnect. The cartoon nature of the Furry costumes draws comparison to the very "un-PC" themes of the first cartoons created, full of sexuality and vice. (Who doesn't know the original Betty Boop?)

Cogliantry's images bring us full circle, back to a spot where it was okay to take a good look at human nature and laugh...or cringe. Either way, this book is a great adventure!

It's a board book, it takes 5 minutes to flip through, and is purely hysterical. No words, no dramatically offensive and horribly wrong journalism. Its sheer humor. And pretty funny at that. I mean, who DOES that to a rabbit? Ha.

Okay, I just have to set people straight before they buy this ludicrous piece of pulp journalism that masquerades as a book.

1. Not all furries dress up as animals.
2. Not all furries roleplay.
3. Not all furries do anything even slightly kinky.

This book is nothing but a blatant attempt to make a quick buck by cashing in on tired old stereotypes. Furvert? No-one uses that word except people who are out to mock the people in the fandom.

There's nothing "illicit" or "hilarious" about it. You might as well say the same thing about any fandom.

Don't waste your money on this. You want to know the truth about the Furry Fandom, go look it up online on one of the dozens of legtimate and balanced websites that really WILL give you the truth.
