I must not have read the description closely enough, because this is a VERY small kiln. I know they can't be too big for a microwave, but the interior space on this is disappointing. It was also rather disappointing to find that I could not use it straight out of the box; I had to make a separate purchase of kiln paper. They should have at least included a small piece for the price of this kiln. Shop carefully.

I rarely include products in the books I write, but in my upcoming book The Big A** Book of Bling (Simon and Schuster) I used this exact kiln for an entire chapter. This kiln is absolutely amazing and a perfect tool for someone interested in learning something new and interesting. I was able to make beautiful glass pieces quite easily in very little time. It's easy to use, has endless possibilities and if you just follow the very simple instructions, you'll have beautiful, professional glass pieces immediately. I LOVE this product and I think it's well worth the investment. I promise you will love it, too. Mark Montano

This is a fun tool if you don't make the mistake of using too much material, over heating, or chosing a location that is not level. The learning curve will cost you. I like the results so I ordered another.

I guess I had too high expectations for this product. I was hoping that it would completely fuse the glass, but instead it just tacks it. I could do that with glue. It has been put on a shelf to remain there, most likely, forever.

Loving the kiln, it arrived really quickly BUT was quite abit smaller than I thought based on the image... but to be fair it did say how big it was only I didn't read that properly. Am still enjoying and getting use out of it.

This kiln is a good starter. It's hard to get accurate results. It heats everything closest to the walls first, so anything in the center will take longer, possibly resulting in uneven fusing. It gets things done, I can't complain about that. And it's good for the price.

I created some jewelry pieces in the microwave and they came out nice but they are not as nice as those created in a real kiln which come out awesome... if someone wants to create jewelry it is nice activity!
