Excellent waterproof amplifier provides clear sound and simple to install. I purchased this to install outdoor sound on my patio. For a power supply I got VideoSecu 12V DC 500MA Regulated CCTV Camera Power Supply AC to DC Power Adapter 1AR and cut off the connector. Then used my volt meter to confirm the polarity of the wires.

For line in, this unit uses female RCA connectors. So for my Apple Airport Express I got a simple mini stereo to male RCA connector hooked into this and now I can play music from iTunes to my patio.

This unit turns on and off automatically when it detects activity. This means that there is no fuss with it and it can be installed out of sight.

This amplifier does cut out when you jack up the volume real high. But that is not what you want on your patio (at least not what your neighbors want). For outdoor sound, this is a perfect amplifier in my experience.
