I have owned this for almost a year and I love it. It takes some getting used to and is much thicker than cooking twine, but it always holds the bird together and the stuffing inside. It's easy to wash and easy to use. It also doesn't stick to the item being trussed like cooking twine does, and the orange color makes it super-easy to spot. Very well designed tool.

for years i had been searching for something that would make it easier to truss poultry, specifically to sew up a turducken. if you have ever tried to wrestle with 20 lbs of various boneless birds and stuffing by yourself you will know what i mean.
the fusion foodloop lace is perfect for this. easy to remove and clean.great price.
my stitching still is not pretty but this does the job.

This is my first lacer and it works great. Wish the needle had a better way to store to protect the point laying in the drawer.

I bought this product for my Thanksgiving Turkey. I used it Thanksgiving Day and could not be more pleased. The bird did not stick to the product and removal was almost effortless. Cleans up very well (it's dishwasher safe) and was easier to use than I had expected. I will never ever buy kitchen string again. A recommended buy!

I bought this product and just cooked turkey today. Lace worked great and got secured in the place and everything. I thought it was a great buy. However when turkey came out from oven, the lace didn't have the needle attached. I found it before it goes to someone's mouth but the lace became unusable after one use. I couldn't believe it! I paid good amount on this and I just got one use? Like review said, lace came off very easy from the cooked turkey and needle worked well when in use... After all, I had only one shot with this product and the price didn't justify it. It should be reusable anyway. Disappointed.

I thought it worked great while closing a turkey for Thanksgiving; so well I planned on buying another so I could close both ends next year.

Unfortunately, when the bird came out of the oven, the lacer was broken. Because of the ribbing the opening stayed closed, but the tool is no longer usable.

I am now the proud owner of an $8 small mesh bag. Lucky me.

I love these for closing up the turkey at Thanksgiving. Be careful, though, when you remove them. I got impatient with the last ones and cut them with the knife when I was trying to just cut the turkey skin. (Too much wine in the cook instead of the turkey?)

Having used it, I can't imagine stuffing and roasting something without this tool. It's easy to use, easy to remove, and easy to wash. I destroyed my first one due to my own stupidity (using it on the grill, for which it is not designed). I'm ordering another one immediately.

great idea for closing up stuffing in cornish hens, chicken or turkey. easy to remove and it does not burn! I just got 3 mroe of them, also for my Mom to use.

used it 3 things on a chicken, a duck and a game hen. It is a bit big for that small of a bird. But, hey its reusable and that is why I bought it.
