You thought Ranma had a problem...,

This review is from: Futaba-kun Change! Volume 1 (Paperback)
Futaba was having a normal life. He had a girl he had a crush on. He was on the high school wrestling team and seemed to be doing well. Till the family secret caught up with him.
It seems that when members of his family get excited they change gender. So, when he gets excited he turns into a VERY voluptous girl. Now his team wants this new female student on the team, he can't be near the girl he likes without getting excited and his sister's male half just WANTS his female half. Just as fun as Ranma, but with a new twist.

Great story but cut off short.,
This review is from: Futaba-kun Change! Volume 1 (Paperback)
I loved this series til I got to the last volume where every thing was seemed to be rushed and then quickly dropped. The story was so interesting and humorous that I wished it went a few more volumes. Alas the ending went way into the twilight zone and then just leaves you hanging. Well I guess what I'm saying is that there really isn't an ending at all which just fustrates me. On top of that the last 2 chapters are really nothing to do with the actual story which really bummed me out. But the thing that pisses me off the most is that the last chapter of the last volume has half of the issue with this story that quite frankly I have no interest in reading since it is a completely different story.
The Writer then admits that he hasn't ever made a series over 8 volumes which insinuates that he just loses interest, runs out of ideas, or maybe he is scared... I don't know. Don't get me wrong here, the series is excellent and interesting but I wish they didn't drop the thing like a bad habit. Whatever you do don't read it if you hate loose ends (cause it has a lot), read it for it's unique and compelling situations and humor.
