Futurama: Slurm Can with Playing Cards

I bought one of these cans last week. I really like the Slurm can itself - though it is a little bit larger than a standard can. It's great for 5 seconds of amusement while reading the ingredients and nutritional information. After that it's a display piece that people like me are proud to show off in a well-traveled part of the house, and that 98% of the rest of humanity will just raise an eyebrow at and move along. :)

The cards are cool. Each ace has the Futurama logo printed over the suit. Each face card uses the standard face card design, but the heads are replaced with character heads, and sometimes the swords are replaced with related items (for example, the card with Hermes' head shows him with a pencil, Farnsworth has his Finglonger). Some of the characters on the cards are Fry, Leela, Bender Amy, Farnsworth, Zoidberg, Hermes, Zapp Brannigan, Mom, Lur, and a few others. Bender is also on the Joker cards.

Unfortunately they're basically just collector's items, since the cards themselves are uncoated and as such would be a real pain to actually play with. But I don't know, maybe some people prefer that for some reason. :)

Not a lot of sophisticated analysis required here, really. The Slurm can is high-quality and doesn't appear to be ready to fall apart or scratch the decals off anytime soon. The cards are good quality and the way the Futurama characters are depicted on them is a lot of fun. Good product!

While I do love this Futurama can I really think it is funny that they categorize it as a toy. I have had this sitting in its package on my dresser since I have purchased it and friends who love Futurama enjoy the thing. It's highly addictive!

This was a gift that I gave to my friend for his birthday, and while I haven't really done anything with it, it has a lot of fun stuff listed on the container that tells you what's in slurm, which is fun, and it does look nice. My friend really liked it and thought it was neat.

I love Futurama and I love this little can with the cards. All of the face cards have a different character. The can is cool because it has all the ingredients and nutritional values of Slurm. This toy is funny and awesome.

This deck of cards is very unique. If you are a collector,
or a fan of Futurama, this is a must have.
