This review is from: Futurebiotics Pmsharmony Veg-Capsules, 56-Count (Health and Beauty)
I love this stuff. About a year ago, noticed my periods had become wildly irregular; I'd never been clockwork-regular, usually it would be anywhere from 28 to 35 days... but now it was going to 40+ days. I looked into available natural remedies to regulate periods/hormones and found good, consistent feedback on PMSHarmony on other websites, so I decided to give it a try.One jar contains a 2-week supply, and exact directions aren't included, so I went through some trial and error before I figured out the best way to take it. At first, I took it for one week before the estimated start date of my period, and then for one week during my period. This didn't work at all, I think for two reasons: 1.) I was so irregular that I couldn't estimate my start date with any accuracy, and 2.) Taking the product during my period didn't make any sense, since it's a PMS product (pretty obvious in retrospect, but oh well). When I started taking it two weeks AFTER the start date of my last period (which was a lot easier to track), my next period began the day after my last serving! And it's stayed that way ever since, as long as I'm taking it every month. Last month, I belatedly noticed that PMSHarmony was no longer available through Subscribe & Save so I substituted Nature's Way Dim-Plus Capsules, 60-Count instead. Both products have the same amount of DIM (100 mg per serving), so I thought it was worth a try-- it didn't work at all. My period came 41 days after the last one... so that was a good reminder to stick with what works for me. I really like that I don't have to take it every day, but just for those two weeks before my period. I use an online period tracker/calculator and as soon as my period starts, I count two weeks out and fill in the start date for my next round of PMSHarmony. I consider the cost (usually around $11.00 including shipping) to be an excellent value since it regulates my period so perfectly, AND it minimizes my PMS moodiness, breast tenderness, and breakouts. I've never suffered from menstrual cramps or bloating so I can't speak to how it works for those symptoms, but I'd still recommend trying it, unless of course you're allergic to any of the ingredients. 2115|R3NXR86MWYGNBG;
