About the Author

The Tangential is a Minneapolis-based group of professors, copywriters, and journalists. Their witty, provocative, accessible creative writing blog has gained a national following, particularly on Tumblr, and was named Best Local Blog by the readers of Minneapolis alternative weekly paper Vita.mn. They don't believe in writing just for other writers, but instead aim to find creative ways to rile up a weird, wide audience.

I have no idea who the "Tangential" people are, but this is a great little book of highly wily short stories. Many very funny. Jay Gabler's center piece tale, "Seventh Grade Time Capsules, 1988" is alone worth the price of admission.
