The full length album is going to be awesome - I can't wait! These are inspired songs from a cool group of guys.

I love the build-up on Open Wide (track 1) and the message that we can't just stand still. Renovation (track 2) is a great rock song in the darker, melodic realm of Muse with some sweet instrumentation on a theremin. All I Want (track 3) will have you banging your head to the chorus and singing along. Track 4 is a short interlude that leads into Stilled (track 5), a slightly mellower song with no less rock. Twilight (track 6) is just that--close your eyes and you'll see the beauty in the night sky.

If you have a chance, see these guys live.

FoF is made up of former members of "Something Like Silas". That being said, the sound here is almost identical, and I for one am glad. I loved SLS, and this new incarnation takes their sound a step further. This EP is great and it looks like the guys are going to really blow us away with their full-length release. And I agree with the other reviewer: see them live if possible.

I have been a huge fan of Something Like Silas since I saw them at the Flood Church in San Diego when I went to UCSD about 3 years ago. Awesome people, awesome praise. They are tremendously talented. Their transition into FoF has not dimmed their musical production. Awesome album. I can't wait for the whole album release.

This CD is good and in the same style as their previous band, something like silas. But I miss the voice of the woman in it. It doesn't has the magic as SLS did.
