I again think of the uniqueness of every track, which is very difficult in a 2CD set.

My opinion Next to ATB there is no other artist in this genre that comes close to his music videos and unique sounds.

ATB continues to put out great music for not only his fans but for people that enjoy music in general.

As i listen to this cd for the fourth time since i purchased it yesterday. It continues to suprise and amaze me that ATB isn't more popular than he is. He's able to pull all kinds of people to sing on his records including this one "Future Memories". Which kind of takes you to a different place and time. I know it probably sounds corny. But if you've been a fan of his over the years you know what i'm talking about.

The song production, beats, lyrics and vocals all come together in this effort and make for what is truly an excellent all around effort. Their a total of 26 songs spread out over 2 discs. 14 songs on the first one and 12 on the second one. With all that some would think that the cd drags through but it doesn't as each song. It brings you a little something different than the last one.

ATB continues to put out great music for not only his fans but for people that enjoy music in general. "Future Memories" is something you NEED to add to your music collection. It's a nice beginning look into the world of ATB, it costs a little more but for what you get. It's so worth and its always on point. Grats ATB!

Not sure how to exactly classify the music in this latest release. its like a super size helping of Tech/House/Breakbeat/Club/drum n bass all rolled perfectly into a super audio sandwhich. Very uplifting and euphoric in many spots. Even though the mp3 album was considerably cheaper here, I still opted to spend the extra cash on the CD. Listening to this release in any compressed format doesn't do it justice.

I think my ipod is going to get worn out.
I can't stop listening to this album.
I really like both sides. I like the first side in my car and the second side when I am working on the computer.
I miss heather on this one, but tiff is wonderful.

One thing that's always impressed me about ATB is his ability to split disciplines. For the most part, he 100% separates his 'studio albums' with his full DJ mixes, and doesn't get tangled up in his own works by cramming his mixes full of noting but his own songs and remixes (in start contrast to others). His tracks with female vocals have a distinct feeling, instrumentals soothing. The majority has the standard club/dance beat, but he never repeats the same tricks in the same way. The "kick" sound is never the same. It's an incredible talent to be able to produce several albums within this genre and still make it possible for people to recognize each specific track if he were to mix them all together. There's never any collective droning or lack of variety. Plenty of things are quite experimental, and it's obvious how much effort he puts into it all.

That said, I'm absolutely floored by this album. It's everything said above and still more than you could imagine. My view might be a tad skewed by a lot of other similar artist-DJs having bits of an identity crisis as of late or trying a different formulas... But that's the irony-- ATB has set his career on making everything played in a club or anywhere else so personalized, it's not remotely out of character. I again think of the uniqueness of every track, which is very difficult in a 2CD set. Second discs are almost exclusively reserved for DJ mixes of the main album, remixes and video features... not here. There are only 3 total tracks collaborated with different artists and only 1 remix out of 26 available possibilities and it's refreshing to see someone still doing so much solo.

It's all here.

Out of the 26 tracks I made a play list of 22. It's not that I hate those four tracks. It just makes a playlist that fits me.
Atb* has stayed true to his roots! He keeps coming up with new ways to expand his music. While keeping each track sounding like an Atb* track.
Since I downloaded this I haven't stopped listening to it. You won't go wrong by getting this!

Is this the best album ATB has done yet? could very well be. I've been disappointed time and again by artists lately, most recently with Crystal Method's new album, "Divided by Night" ATB shines on this new album Future Memories. Every track is fantastic in it's own right (with the exception of Summervibes w/ 9pm) not crazy about that one. I've become a huge fan of ATB over last 4 years or so and have to say, that he stands out in the dance music genre. What he's done here is take his signature sound and up the ante with different beats ranging from trance, to house to breakbeat or drum n bass. AWESOME on the latter beats. What about us stands out as a favorite track of mine, but they're all good in their own right. I can't recommend this enough and I haven't even listened to the second disk yet. So will post a new review for that one as well.
Unfortunately, can't find in the US,...so had to order here on Amazon, which was great all the same, got my cd within a couple days. Do yourself a favor, pick it up, listen, and get uplifted and lost within the music and world of ATB.
Perfect to get you moving, get you thinking or pick up your spirits and keep hope alive.
Cheers
