This is server RAM.
This will most likely not work in your machine, unless it's a server. It's ECC and Registered. I gave five stars for the company. I asked for a refund and it was there in 24.

BE CAREFUL!!!
To All: Be very careful with this company. I ordered what I wanted, they ship a totally different item that did not work with my system and they charge me restocking fee to send it back and charge me for freight coming to me and freight going to them. So the whole experience cost me about $20 just for trying to buy something from them. So if they ship...

To All:
Be very careful with this company. So if they ship every order wrong and they charge you restocking fees and freigt for each item, that is all they need to make money and not even sell anything. I have a very big problem with AMAZON and it's creditability. I purchased the above-mentioned item and to date, I have not been reimbursed for the item returned. I've contacted your customer representative 5 times with all of my information and I have yet to receive my payment reimbursed to me. So, FYI I WILL NOT ever purchase another item from this company. Total rip off!

I have returned this because when I put it in my Sony PC it was beeping like crazy and wouldn't accept it. I think my PC is too old to hold a 1gb ram card. It was the correct model # that Sony said it would accept but as I said it may be the age of my PC which is a 2001. I cant say if it was good or bad but I am sure it'll work great with a newer PC.

I have tried two of these modules in motherboards that specify this sort of RAM. No go in either: MSI kt3 ultra ms-6380e ver 1.0, Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus, and Epox EP-8KMM+. BIOS beep codes: Epox one long, Soyo 3 short
All boards are running with modules which have the same specifications: DDR266/PC2100. And they ran when the existing modules were replaced. I was careful, yes. |
