4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Read, January 27, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Future Scrapbook (Paperback)
The problem with most self-help books is that they're either too simple - I breeze throught them, wonder why I didn't write that myself and forget the entire thing by morning - or they're so complex it takes a Ph.D. to muddle through them.

The Future Scrapbook hits the happy medium. It offers fun exercises I WANT to do, and doesn't talk down to me or over my head.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book, November 29, 2000
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Future Scrapbook (Paperback)
I have read many books on goal setting/attainment and this is one of the best. The author says that one day he sat down and made a list of goals, like most other books say to do. The problem was that the list didn't really motivate him -- so he invented a way to make his goals come alive by making them into future "memories" and thereby adding emotional "zing" to them. I think his approach is terrific and highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Approach to Management Training, January 20, 2000
This review is from: The Future Scrapbook (Paperback)
The Future Scrapbook is an excellent motivational and training tool for potential leaders and managers. The Scrapbook clearly teaches the student the he/she is accountable for their own future and that any realistic future can be realized. The Scrapbook focuses the reader's attention and energies to those activities which are critical for their success. I recommend this for anyone who is mentoring or training potential managers.
