More About the Author

Biography of Eddie Upnick, author of "Time Will Tell"

Ed Upnick was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1953. He graduated from Benjamin Cardozo High School in Bayside, New York in 1971. In 1976, he graduated from New Paltz State University of New York with a BA in Anthropology. He has worked as a joke writer for Rodney Dangerfield, among others, and as a situation comedy writer off and on between the years 1975-1996. He invented a game called Super Chess in 1984. Super Chess was declared one of the top ten strategy games of the year in Games Magazine.

While on vacation in Antigua, in the mid 1990's, Upnick met an Englishman named Sidney Dowse. Mr. Dowse was one of the men who had escaped from Sagan, the prison camp portrayed in the 1963 movie, "The Great Escape". Mr. Dowse told Eddie stories that were not in any history book. Dowse related events both from his own recollections, as well as those he himself had been told by his associate, Stewart Menzies, who was the head of MI-6 during World War Two. Upnick made a promise to Sidney Dowse that he would not repeat anything he had revealed to him until after his death. Mr. Dowse died in 2008.

Mr. Dowse's stories inspired Eddie to write "Time Will Tell". Certain facts, unknown to history, are woven into the story.

I loved the descriptiveness the author gave of his idea of what the future will look like.

The characters are described so well, and the intergalactic travel ideas were fascinating.

This book has great characters both human and alien and a good storyline. It is a high paced, action packed intergalactic adventure. It takes you all over the world and then all over the universe and back. It has all the makings of a good syfy movie or tv series. The only thing I didn't like was the way things were resolved with out enough of an explanation and it just seemed a little to easy to me. But other then that I thought it was a good read.

This is a great sci-fi page thrilling page turner that has so many prevalent modern day situations within it such as nuclear war and terrorism. I love the aspect of time travel and it was used expertly throughout the book! I have not read the first book in the series so perhaps I didn't get everything I should have in this second installment but I will for sure be going back to read the first one now! Overall this was a great read and I can't wait for more to come from Eddie Upnick.

This book is simply amazing! The characters are so well rounded! I read the entire book in a day because I just couldn't stop reading it. The story was so entertaining and entrancing; this would make for a great movie someday! I didn't realize though that this book was a sequel in a series, I am for sure going back and reading the first book now. Time travel is a big part of this book, oddly enough reminded me of Doctor Who in a way. Going and saving Earth over and over again reminded me of the Doctor in so many ways. That is not a bad thing though, the story line is unique enough that it didn't bother me at all! This book is a great read and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Future Tense by Eddie Upnick is a fresh new look at time travel and all that it holds to change history or the future. This novel finds Vito managing his classic car garage when he is approached by Secret Service agents to assist the President and Secretary of State with international negotiations. And the action just takes off from there. While on assigment he meets 2 terminally ill teens who will literally change his life. Using his state department connections he adopts the twins and brings them back to the states. His international travel soon becomes intergalactic travel as he and his family strive to save Earth. With clues left by his father in the future, he is able to put together the pieces to accomplish what his father could not.

Future Tense is a great read and will make fantastic movie with lots of action.

I didn't realize that this book was a sequal until after I had already read it. It is an awesome stand-alone book.
Vito and Victoria are the children of of two time traveller friends who grow up, have children of their own and find that Earth is always in danger so the two adults and four children save the world over and over from everything from premature ice ages to aliens to the Russian Mafia.
I couldn't put the book down!

I was enthralled with "Time Will Tell", but "Future Tense I have to say goes far beyond. It is spellbinding, thrilling. I just can't get enough. If someone in Hollywood doesn't pick both books up and turn them into a movie or better yet, a series, they're missing more than a golden opportunity. Eddie Upnick has given us yet another compelling winner! These are must-read books and both would make excellent gifts for family and friends. I implore everyone to spread the word. These books are unlike any others of this genre. Well done, Eddie! Give us more, please!

Bravo! Wishes do come true. Eddie Upnick does it again with his sequel to TIME WILL TELL with FUTURE TENSE. Here the story continues with the son of Clem Rizzoli , who finally learns of his father's incredible past and it begins his wild ride into dimensions that we could never have even imagined. My only request...keep them coming Eddie!

Future Tense was a futuristic adventure full of twists and turns taking place twenty years after the first book. Overall, the book was a good read. The plot was intense with new obstacles around every turn for the street smart Vito and the beautiful and intelligent Victoria. It seemed that every time the characters won a battle, another one arose. At times, I did feel like events and decisions were glossed over a bit. On the whole, the book was a good read and kept me interested.
