Effective for day-time or night-time,

I've been trying different "plain" and blended valerian supplements and this is my favorite so far. Taking one during the day produces a calm/mellow feeling within about 45 minutes and lasts 2-4 hours. The feeling is much more pronounced than plain valerian root, and has no side effects (although it does take a couple days to get acclimated to). I also take it at night when needed, taking 2-3 before bed results in an easy night of getting to sleep--the only side-effect I've noticed at night is waking up occasionally, typically with vivid dreams, but I easily get back to sleep. Come morning I've slept well without grogginess or drowsiness.

some of the best bang-for-the-buck herbal calming I have come across. There is a very mild euphoria/distractedness associated with a higher dose (3, the recommended dose is 1-3 daily), so please heed the warning about driving or operating heavy machinery. Overall this is a good product that is priced very well, and the sense of calm and peace is a nice feeling if you need it.
