Futuro Beyond Support Pantyhose, large, beige, firm, full-cut, April 3, 2008
I am thrilled with these firm support stockings. They do not rip the way other support stockings do. They are much better priced than the $80-$100 stockings I used to buy at a local medical supply store, and so much better quality. I can go all day long without pain, even when working on my feet, or doing hard labor.
I gave a pair to a friend who must stand up for about 12 hours a day on her job, and they are so effective for her, I am ordering 2 more. It is important, if you have pretty painful vericose to purchase at least 2 or more pair. That way, you can keep the other pair(s) washed and ready to put on in the morning.
They are so strong, I am able to put them in a hosiery bag, and wash them on permanant press in my washing machine. However, it is important to use a detergent like Woolite, or a store-brand equivalent for delicate-wash to wash them in. But do not dry them in the dryer!! Just line dry them.
When I do handwash them, I squeeze them, not wring them, and then roll them up in a towel to get as much water out that way, before line drying.
I do wish 2 things: that the centermost panty-panel was cut out. Because it is not, I simply cut it out, inside the seam line. This minimizes sweating and makes them easier to move around in. Also, I have not been able to find them in any color but beige. This color is fine for me, but my African-American friend would prefer a darker color so it would look more natural on her. Since a good number of customers are undoubtably African-American, it would be nice if someone considered their needs in this regard.

Great support hose!, December 2, 2007
I have to wear firm support hose because of my varicose veins. I have tried other brands, but these are absolutely the best! They are relatively easy to get on and provide good graduated support. The only problem I've had is finding them. I'm so glad Amazon is carrying them and at a great price, too. If you need support hose, I would highly recommend this brand.

Actually comfortable & not impossible to get on, November 29, 2007
I am 32 years old and bought these pantyhose to wear after having sclerotherapy injections for spider veins. I had never worn support hose that were this firm before, but I was surprised that they were fairly easy to get on! I wasn't left huffing and puffing and breaking a sweat after just putting them on! :) The support was plenty firm and the pantyhose were actually pretty comfortable. I like the way that they're shaped like feet at the ends so that it's not too tight under your heel and not wrinkled up on top of the ankle like you get with regular hose. I thought the waistband was a little too tight though. If you don't have a super flat stomach and washboard abs, then the waistband on these will be pretty tight.
