I've bought a total of 8 pair of these (in blue and black) and have gotten well over 500 days of heavy use of them. Only one sock has really worn out and another one or two show noticeable wear. The rest appear nearly new. Based on my experience, I'd estimate that (over the long haul) you'll need to buy only about 3 pair per year if you wear these every day!

They're quite a bargain, especially if you search the site for the same Futuro socks direct from Amazon with FREE Super Saver Shipping!

The Futuro Support Socks are a great item and I buy them on a regular basis. My issue is with the seller For Your Legs. I have purchased the Large before when Amazon was running the 2 pack special and not had any problem but now they are using a new supplier "For Your Legs" and they will only send you 1 pair of socks instead of the pack of 2. When I tried to resolve this issue they claimed that the pack of 2 meant there were 2 socks in the box. Excuse me but Futuro doesn't sell socks on a individual basis. For Your Legs also replied back that they couldn't help what Amazon advertised. As a matter of fact here is a copy of the verbage. Judge for yourself. I will not buy anything else that is sponsored by For Your Legs.

I understand you have ordered previously with Amazon, and have received the stockings in a different way.

Amazon has those stockings with several different companies.

So I can understand where the confusion would come from.

Unfortunately we can not change how Amazon has them described.

As I previously stated, our description of the stockings is:

My title says it all. I can wear the sox all day without getting the feeling that I'm being squeezed to death. Compression is even with no binding, especially at the top of the sock where some surgical sox compress too hard. They wash up great and seem to be holding up well after a couple of washings. Best thing was the price -- at $9.99 a pair, you can't go wrong.

My husband has worn these socks for years. They're the only brand he'll buy. He is a barber and stands for 10 hours every day and he swears by these socks!

this item saved me 90 bucks each pair

as I need some special support sock. I got some from a local store and they cost me over 100.00 each pair and were a funny tan color. I got these at costco and loved them when I went to reorder they had discontinued them I found the at Amazon at the same price and much faster shipping

i find these to be a great benefit to me. they help control the swelling of my ankles due to surgery.

i recommend these . they may not help everybody but they sure helped me.

Last week, I injured my left calf (grade 2 strain) while running and stepped into a ground depression. Somehow my ankle didn't break nor did I strain / sprain my ankle, but my calf muscle felt like it got twisted around like a wet towel. It was painful as I limped home. When I got home, I applied ice, compression and elevation to my left calf. For compression, I used an Ace wrap for a couple of days, but I found myself wrapping my calf too tight and blood began to pool in my left foot. I limped over to a nearby drug store to look for an alternative and found the Futuro compression sock (firm) which is so much easier to use than an Ace wrap. The compression pressure is also more even.

I've been wearing the Futuro compression sock constantly except when I bath for the past three days. Today, I stopped wearing it for about four hours. My calf muscle became real painful whenever I had to stand up and walk so I put the Futuro back on and my calf muscle felt so much better. I'm able to walk around the house without grabbing a hold of nearby walls, furniture, chairs. It's still painful, but not as much.

After my calf strain heals, I plan on using my Futuro compression socks on my next vacation when I have to fly so I'm getting my money's worth on this purchase.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Good thin basic support hose giving at least 12 mmHg of pressure. Very comfortable to wear, easy to put on. Can work well with putting thin dress sock over them to make for the thickness of a normal sock so you can wear any color on the outside to match clothing. Wash in a dittty bag so they don't get roughed up and they will last longer.

It was by accident that I found this product and am happy happy. Tried many others before they were either too big or too small but these are true to size and fit just "right and left"
